Event 1 - Saturday 26th September - Port Elliot - Victor Harbour Sprint
Timed Quarter mile sprint along Brickyard Road
Event 2 - Sunday 27th September - Centenary Grand Prix Circuit
Celebrating its centenary the South Australia government passed legislation to allow public roads between Port Elliott and Victor Harbour on the scenic Fleurieu Peninsula, including the specially banked “Nangawooka Hairpin”, to stage the South Australian Centenary Grand Prix. Run by the Sporting Car Club of South Australia on Boxing Day 1936. Now known as the 1937 AGP
Event 3 - Saturday 3rd October - Nuriootpa Grand Prix Circuit
The Sporting Car Club of South Australia switched racing in the state to the roads outside Nuriootpa after the 1948 meeting at Lobethal. Set in the wine-growing Barossa Valley, the 3-mile square road course was mainly flat and featured two narrow bridges across the North Para River with vineyards adjacent to the start-line. In 1950 the Australian Grand Prix was held there.
Event 4 - Sunday 4th October - Collingrove Hillclimb
Timed hill climb event for motor vehicles and bikes up to 1972. The Collingrove track has been running hillclimb's since 1952
Event 5 - Monday 5th October - Woodside F1 Circuit
The Sporting Car Club of South Australia organised meetings for five years on the roads to the south of Woodside in the Adelaide Hills from its first meeting on 13 October 1947.
Primarily for motorcycles, two handicap car races were included at each meeting, which included the first FIA Formula 1 & 2 races to be held in Australia on 8 October 1951.

Your Membership Options
The Sporting Car Club of SA warmly welcomes persons up to the age of 18 years.
Junior Members shall have no vote at a General or Special Meetings of the Club and shall be ineligible for election to any Office or position of the Club but shall otherwise be entitled to
legally enjoy the facilities of the Club and to participate in its activities including competitions. Any person holding Junior Membership who attains the age of 18 years shall cease to be a Junior Member on the first day of July next after their 18th birthday, or if the birthday shall fall on the first day of July, then such Junior Membership shall cease on such birthday.
Junior Members can:
- Take part in Club activities and competitions.
- Use Club facilities where legally permitted.
Junior Members cannot:
- Vote at General Meetings.
- Hold a Committee or official Club position.
Junior Membership automatically changes when the member turns 18, in accordance with the Club Constitution.
The Club encourages people between 18 and 28 years of age to join. To assist these people, and to encourage their participation, the Club offers a unique ‘Associate’ membership at a more affordable fee.
Associate Members shall have no vote at any General or Special Meetings of the Club and shall be ineligible for election to any Office of the Club but shall otherwise be entitled to legally enjoy the facilities of the Club and to participate in its activities including competitions.
Associate Members can:
- Enjoy Club facilities.
- Participate in Club activities and competitions.
Associate Members cannot:
- Vote at General Meetings.
- Hold a Committee or official Club position.
The Club welcomes Corporate membership. A Corporate body is defined as a registered company, an incorporated association, a partnership, or a sole trader. A Corporate Member shall have no vote at any meetings of the Club and shall be ineligible for election to any Office of the Club. However, an annually nominated person will represent the Corporation who will be entitled to enjoy all the general benefits of membership of the Club.
Corporate Membership suits businesses and organisations, including:
- Companies
- Incorporated associations
- Partnerships
- Sole traders
Each Corporate Member nominates one representative each year to enjoy the benefits of Club membership.
Corporate Members cannot:
- Vote at Club meetings.
- Hold Committee or official Club positions.
Family Membership is defined as up to two Members living at the same address, with their natural or adopted children, if any, up to the age of 18 years being Junior Members.
Family Membership covers:
- Up to two adult Members living at the same address.
- Their natural or adopted children under 18 years of age, who are included as Junior Members.
Family Membership is designed to make it easy for the whole family to be involved in the Club’s activities and events.
