Welcome to the Sporting Car Club of South Australia.

Whether you are a seasoned racer, a dedicated restorer, or a newcomer who simply appreciates the lines of a well-crafted machine, you have found your home. Since 1934, our club has been the heart of motoring in South Australia, and it is my privilege to welcome you into this storied community.

At the SCCSA, we believe that a car is far more than a mode of transport—it is a piece of history, a feat of engineering, and a vessel for adventure. Our club is built on four enduring pillars:

• Heritage: We are the proud custodians of South Australian motorsport history, from our archives at Unley to the legendary bitumen of the Collingrove Hillclimb.

• Culture: We pride ourselves on a “bonnet-up” culture of inclusivity. Here, a pre-war veteran tourer shares the paddock with the latest high-performance supercar, united by mutual respect.

• Enthusiasts: You are joining a 2,000-strong family. Whether you enjoy our social “Fish n Chip” runs or the technical depth of the Eric Rainsford Library, there is a place for your specific passion.

• Competition: For those who live for the stopwatch, we remain one of the premier competitive bodies in the country, offering a safe and thrilling environment to test your limits.

The strength of this club has always been its members. I encourage you to get involved—attend a section meeting, volunteer at a track day, or simply share a story over coffee at the clubrooms. It is your passion that keeps our engines running and our history alive.
